Commonwealth Powerlifting Champion and Guinness World Record Holder

Karenjeet Kaur Bains is a Commonwealth Powerlifting Champion winner of 3 Gold (Squat, Deadlift and overall) and 2 Silver Medals (for Bench Press). Across her career she has represented Great Britain at both the World and European Championships, and is also the 5 times All England Powerlifting Champion and 5 times British Champion.

Karenjeet is also a former 3x Warwickshire 300m sprint and hammer throwing champion, and used to compete against Dina Asher Smith in athletics.

But her talents don’t stop there… she holds a Guinness World Record for the most bodyweight squats in a minute and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

In 2023, Karenjeet was unveiled as ‘Athena’ in the BBC One series of Gladiators.

Karenjeet’s media presence includes appearances on popular shows such as Blue Peter, Comic Relief, The Weakest Link, Celebrity Mastermind, CBBC Mash Up, and BBC Asian Network.
