British Olympian and Commonwealth Gold Medallist

Elite athlete Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, or Harry AA, is a British Olympian who excels in sprinting.

At age 17, he won BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after becoming the first athlete to win gold medals at both 100 and 200 metres at the World Youth Championships.

As a member of Team GB, he won gold at the men’s 4x100m European Championships and again at the Commonwealth Games. His personal best at 100m is 10.08 seconds.

His long list of achievements include: 2x Olympian, 3x European Champion, 2x Commonwealth Champion, 1x Commonwealth Silver Medallist, 1x European Bronze  Medallist, 1x World Bronze Medallist, 1x British Champion, 2x World Youth Champion, 1x World Junior Champion.

Optimistic Harry is renowned for his high energy and high spirits: ‘Each day is there to be enjoyed so savouring the day is always a must – it literally does give me extra strength and  speed!’

In addition to his athletic achievements, Harry has made notable television appearances, including reaching the final of Celebrity MasterChef and featuring on shows such as Question of Sport, House of Games, and Bridge of Lies. He is also the voice of Runner Bean in Supertato and recently hosted the Gladiators spin-off show Epic Pranks for CBBC.
