Lou Brown

Executive Producer

Nearly 30 years ago Lou started as a runner at This Morning in Liverpool, she stayed for 4 years, learning the ropes of daytime live TV and VT directing. In 1998 she landed her dream job as an Assistant Producer on Live and Kicking and met Dan Baldwin and Juliet Denison Gay

She’s now delighted to be reunited with Dan and Juliet, as an Executive Producer leading the Hungry Bear Glasgow office.

Having developed, directed, series produced and executive produced content for most major broadcasters, as well as commissioning exec-ing for Warner Bros, Discovery; Lou has experience in many different genres, from producing and directing ob docs like Wife Swap, to daytime property formats like Best of Both Worlds, from makeover formats like How Not to Decorate, to comedy panel shows like The Dog Ate My Homework.

In 2007 Lou moved to Glasgow, as an Executive Producer and Head of Development for CBBC Scotland. Since then, she’s worked with many Scottish indies and is passionate about the Scottish TV Industry.

Lou now has a Scottish husband, Scottish stepdaughter, Scottish dog, Scottish cat, even a Scottish BAFTA….but still can’t pull off a Scottish accent.
