Juliet Denison Gay

Creative Director

Juliet was born in Istanbul to parents who believed firmly that children thrive in benign neglect. Juliet carries this mantle and applies it to her work ethic, believing that trusting people and giving them the freedom to figure things out for themselves will reap wonderful creative rewards.

She has worked in the industry for almost 20 years and has won commissions in almost every genre, from CBBC drama to quiz, factual entertainment, pop docs, comedy entertainment and reality shows across BBC1, BBC2, Three, ITV, ITV2, Channel 4, E4, CBBC, Sky Living and MTV. Prior to Hungry Bear Media, Juliet’s most recent notable commissions include E4’s Virtually Famous,  MTV’s Geordie Shore, and bringing back Through the Keyhole for ITV with Keith Lemon.

Juliet believes daily laughter is the key to success, along with employing the best people and creating a culture they won’t want to leave. Being awarded bronze in Broadcast’s Best Places To Work in 2017, is a personal highlight of her time at Hungry Bear Media so far.

Juliet and Dan have been friends for over 15 years. She has a son, Joseph, loves pick and mix, and spends most of her free time watching Corrie on catch up.
