Senior Casting Producer
In 2006, James was working on a fruit & veg stall in East London when he got the call to be a runner in TV. What began with making teas and working on Big Brother’s Big Mouth soon progressed into a steady career in the industry.
As a freelancer, James worked at several production companies including Endemol Shine, BBC Studios, Optomen, Monkey Kingdom and Talkback.
James came to Hungry Bear in 2015 to be part of the casting team on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and has gone on to work on every series of ‘Big Show’ since. He has a successful track record in casting key entertaining and memorable characters for a variety of formats.
James thrives in meeting and building relationships with people from all walks of life and he believes there is a show for everyone. He credits working with incredibly talented casting teams at Hungry Bear as an essential factor in finding the most compelling members of the Great British public.
Outside of work, James loves going to the theatre with his other half Rebecca, taking his son Zachary out on adventures, and watching his beloved Spurs nearly win something.
